The CAP is structured as a partnership between four core members, community seats (leaders within the community we are working within), and a collection of collaborators who support to develop, implement and share the projects. The CAP was established in 2022 with support from Médecins Sans Frontières and Amigo & Amigo.    


Info about the Core team

Arunn Jegan (Advocacy Lead)
An experienced aid-worker who has managed major humanitarian efforts across Bangladesh, Yemen, Syria, Afghanistan, and Sri Lanka.

Simone Chua (Production Lead)
Founding Director of Amigo & Amigo has led the studio for the last 10 years. Simone strives to create works that capture audience imagination and bring people together in public spaces

Tasman Munro (co-design lead)
Social Designer with expertise in collaborative storytelling, design and making. Has worked with numerous orgs, councils and festivals on creative community projects. Senior Social Innovator at The Australian Centre for Social Innovation.     

Caitlin Gibson (Programming Lead)
Curator and producer of talks and performances. Background in broadcasting, community arts & theatre, now head curator at TedxSydney, one of Australia’s leading platforms for spreading diverse ideas.   


Partnering with the Rohingya Community

Since 2022 the CAP have been partnering with the Rohingya community on a series of projects to share experiences of statelessness and support the community to strengthen a culture that is at threat of disappearing. Three Rohingya folks stepped into the community seats including Asma Nayim Ullah (poet and human rights and youth leader in Sydney), Sujauddin Karimuddin (poet and community leader in Malaysia) and Ruhul (advocate in Kutupalong refugee camp), and a range of great folks have stepped into the collaborator seats, including Adela Lines (art director at Amigo&Amigo), Sajeda Bahadurmia (co-founder of ARWDO) Eloise Liddy (Mutual aid advocate and activist), Victor Caringal (photographer and media designer at MSFA), Noor Azizah (founder of the Rohingya Maìyafuìnor Collaborative Network) and Noor Uddin (Rohingya community leader).
